If anything rivals the Rockies, it might be the spires and red rocks of Utah. Our Tredsup 2019 adventure will take us to sunny, hot Moab to play in the Colorado river, as well as its towering arches and slot canyons. There will be something to challenge everyone, with trailing singing, laughter and sisterhood guaranteed.

We will hike both Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, with guides. I am looking forward to tackling the Fiery Furnace.

We will spend two days rafting the Colorado river with Western River Expeditions, sleeping riverside in tents.

Our other camping — or should I say glamping — will be with Under Canvas Moab.

I think I’m most excited about the group experiencing canyoneering for the first time. Using Moab Adventures for guides, we will tackle Ephedras Grotto, which features two big rappels, and offers scrambling, climbing and hiking some mind-boggling features of the slot canyon.
